Vampire Weekend Shares ‘This Life’ & ‘Unbearably White’ Singles

Vampire Weekend continued a trend of releasing tracks from the forthcoming Father Of The Bride in batches of two and today’s drop features “This Life” and “Unbearably White.” The 18-track follow-up to 2014’s Modern Vampires Of The City is due May 3 via Columbia Records.

“This Life” was co-produced by VW’s Ezra Koenig and Ariel Rechtshaid with additional production from Dave Macklovitch of Chromeo. Danielle Haim contributes backing vocals, while there’s also guitar from Jake Longstreth. As per Pitchfork, the song features lyrics from iLoveMakonnen’s “Tonight.” Meanwhile, “Unbearably White” was produced by Rechtshaid and Koenig with BloodPop contributing additional production.
