Umphrey’s McGee released pro-shot video of a Widespread Panic cover along with an UM original. The debut performance of “Pleas” and conclusion of “Bridgeless” with WSP drummer Duane Trucks took place at the Georgia Theatre in Panic’s hometown of Athens, Georgia on December 2.
Duane Trucks has been filling in for Umphrey’s McGee drummer Kris Myers at select shows while he recovers from shoulder surgery. The WSP drummer was a fitting choice for UM’s three-night run in Athens where Panic formed in 1986.

Umphrey’s then finished up “Bridgeless,” after beginning it in the second set, in triumphant fashion to close the concert and run.
