Get In The Game: Umphrey’s McGee Announces UMBowl XI Livestreams

Livestreams of Umphrey's McGee's UMBowl XI are available with a nugs.net All Access subscription. The football-themed concerts will take place this weekend Friday, April 4 and Saturday, April 5 at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.

Each show will consist of three fan-driven sets starting at 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT. Fans without nugs.net All Access subscriptions can register for a free seven-day trial. (JamBase earns a commission from affiliate purchases/subscriptions).

Ticketholders will help determine the setlist by voting both in advance and in real-time. As reported, Greensky Bluegrass dobroist Anders Beck, Trey Anastasio Band trumpeter/vocalist and longtime UM collaborator Jennifer Hartswick and Legendary bluegrass musician Sam Bush are aboard as special guests.

Umphrey’s McGee previously detailed this year’s themes:

• Outlaw Umphrey’s: Fans vote on iconic artists to UM to pay homage to, covering the music that made Nashville what it is.
• Choose Your Own Adventure: The set where fans dictate the setlist via text voting with results unfolding on screen in real time.
• Single Song Set: Making its UMBowl debut, a single song set stretching through rich improvisation where the audience helps choose genres, moodes and transitions live during the performance.
• Soundtrack Set: The band will create a real time score to a stunning video montage culled from fan chosen concepts.
• Band’s Picks (2 Sets): Lace ’em up and hold on tight, the band will take it from here.

UMBowl makes its Ryman Auditorium debut this weekend. Past installments of the event have been presented in Chicago, Port Chester (New York), Las Vegas and Boston.
