Yesterday Umphrey’s McGee was set to conclude a three-show run at the Beacon Theatre in New York City, when a blizzard stopped the band in its tracks as the finale was cancelled due to Winter Storm Jonas. Today, as many fans dig out after the massive snow storm, UM has shared professionally-shot video of their New Year’s Eve opener from December 30, 2015 at Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium.

The TourGigs footage of the NYE Run opener can be viewed on-demand here. UM’s 12/30/15 performance is filled with heavy hitters such as “Utopian Fir,” “All In Time,” “Phil’s Farm” and “In The Kitchen.” The show also features an inventive “Tribute To The Spinal Shaft” > “The Fuzz” > “Glory” sequence as well as a tribute to the late Lemmy Kilmister in the form of a partial cover debut of “Silver Machine” from Lemmy’s time with Hawkwind plus a standout “Robot Wold” with lyrical “Jimmy Stewart” to kick off the second set.
