Umphrey’s McGee shared video featuring guitarist Jake Cinninger‘s solo rendition of “Glory” from Saturday’s Holiday Livestream Concert. Jake completely reworked the original for his set as part of the 18th Annual Holiday Concert.
Jake and fellow UM guitarist Brendan Bayliss were supposed to perform together but plans changed out of an “abundance of caution,” with each musician performing their own set. Cinninger’s opening frame was recorded at his Boondock Studios facility in Michigan and included a mix of UM classics, new tunes and covers.

“Glory” came towards the end of Jake’s set and saw the guitarist employ a backing track featuring drums, bass and guitar. Cinninger played lead guitar atop the track and delivered a stirring solo.
