Sunday night Umphrey’s McGee held a Halloween celebration at The Pageant in St. Louis. Keeping with a tradition started in 2008, UM debuted three original mashups at the venue that also hosted their 2010 Halloween Run.

Sporting mashup costumes: Brendan Bayliss as Cyprus Hillary Clinton, Jake Cinninger as Hil Billy Idol, Joel Cummins as Ken Bone Thugs & Harmony, Andy Farag as Ronald McDonald Trump, Kris Myers as Daft Steam Punk and Ryan Stasik as a Zonkey, “Miss Tinkle’s Overture” opened the celebratory concert. The rest of the set mixed newer songs “Hindsight” and “Remind Me” with classics such as “Out Of Order” and “2×2.” The first mashup song of the evening, a blend of “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” by The Rolling Stones, “White Wedding” by Billy Idol and “Party All The Time” by Eddie Murphy – which they titled “Jumpin’ Jack Wedding Party (All the Time)” – closed the first set.

Instrumental dance favorite “The Triple Wide” opened the second set followed by “Puppet String.” Originals “40’s Theme,” “Piranhas” and “Partyin’ Peeps” filled out the remainder of the second half before the debut of the mashup “Royally Feel Like Driftin’ Away.” The second mashup of the night featured elements of “Royals” by Lorde, “Feel Like Making Love” by Bad Company and “Drift Away” by Dobie Gray. UM staple “All In Time” served as the set two closer. Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game,” Bananarama’s “Cruel Summer” and Daft Punk’s “One More Time” came together for the encore as the band debuted their “One More Wicked, Cruel Summer” mashup to bring the show to an end.
