Umphrey’s McGee released the single “Catshot.” The instrumental is one of 12 tracks featured on You Walked Up Shaking In Your Boots But You Stood Tall & Left A Raging Bull, a studio album set to arrive through UM’s Nothing Too Fancy Music label next Friday, July 16.

You Walked Up Shaking In Your Boots But You Stood Tall & Left A Raging Bull features studio versions of songs the sextet often performs to open their concerts. Umphrey’s previously previewed the LP with lead single “Leave Me Las Vegas” and “Restrung,” a song birthed out of “Unsung Hero.”

“Catshot” was debuted live by Umphrey’s McGee at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta on February 19, 2009. Thirty-six additional live performances followed through the most recent rendition on August 23, 2019 at Louisville’s Iroquois Amphitheater. UM continues their summer tour tonight and tomorrow at The Caverns Above Ground Amphitheater in Pelham, Alabama.
