U2 Launches New Album Campaign With Anthemic Single ‘Street Of Dreams’
The legendary Irish band’s as-of-yet untitled first full-length album in nine years is due in the second half of 2026.

U2 unveiled “Street Of Dreams,” a new single and accompanying video. The powerful track is the first preview of the legendary Irish band’s yet-to-be announced new studio album, their first in nine years, set to arrive later this year.
“Street Of Dreams” comes on the heels of Days Of Ash and Easter Lily, a pair of EPs released in February and April, respectively. Each set was positioned as different in theme and mood from the long-awaited follow-up to 2017’s Songs Of Experience.
U2 tapped longtime collaborator Jacknife Lee to produce “Street Of Dreams.” The new song features the classic sound Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. have cultivated since the band was formed in Dublin 50 years ago.
The four members of the group assembled in Mexico City last May to shoot the “Street Of Dreams” video. A huge crowd of fans withstood stormy weather to gather in Plaza Santo Domingo for the shoot. After the inclement weather caused a generator to crash, a local family invited U2 to film on the balcony of their apartment.
