Last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live featured U2 as guests. The band sat for an interview with host Jimmy Kimmel and performed a pair of songs during their appearance.

The chat with Kimmel covered many topics, with the politically active group’s frontman Bono sharing his unfavorable opinion of current U.S. President Donald Trump. Bono also spoke about the recent terrorist attack at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England.

“They hate music,” Bono said about the suspected bombers. “They hate women. They even hate little girls. They hate everything that we love.”

The chat concluded with a discussion of the band’s The Joshua Tree album, which was issued 30 years ago. U2 launched into a surprise rendition of “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” as the iconic backdrop from their live performances was projected behind them. The show also featured the first live TV performance of “The Little Things That Give You Away,” a song expected on the new U2 album that the band joked was due in 27 years.
