Tyler, the Creator is heading to South America.
The rapper and producer headlines Lollapalooza Argentina on March 13 and Lollapalooza Chile on March 14. He arrives on the heels of Chromakopia, his well-received 2024 album that featured several guest collaborators, including fellow Lolla performer Doechii.
Collaboration has been central to Tyler’s career dating back to his arrival with the Odd Future collective, which included Frank Ocean. Others who have made music with Tyler include Kali Uchis, Pharrell Williams and many more.
On stage, Tyler has a history of surprise guest appearances. His 2024 Coachella headline sets saw appearances by A$AP Rocky, Childish Gambino, Charlie Wilson and GloRilla. At Camp Flog Gnaw 2025, his own festival, GloRilla joined him for a performance of “Sticky.”
The lineups surrounding him at both South American festivals include several artists who represent compelling collaboration possibilities. Here are five worth watching.
1. Lorde

Lorde plays immediately before Tyler both nights. The scheduling alone makes this among most natural collaborations of the weekend.
Lorde and Tyler occupy different genres, but that dynamic mirrors what made Tyler’s collaborations with Frank Ocean so distinctive. Like Ocean, Lorde operates within a singular style and artistic framework that would make for a compelling time on stage with Tyler.
2. Turnstile

Turnstile plays the same stage as Tyler in Argentina and in Chile — earlier in the evening before Tyler headlines.
Tyler has spoken openly about his appreciation for rock music as an influence on his work. The Baltimore-based Turnstile’s explosive live performances match Tyler’s often fiery — both figuratively and pyrotechnically literally — and might result in everyone stage diving into the crowd together.
3. KATSEYE
KATSEYE also plays the same Lolla stages as Tyler, earlier in the evening. The multinational group, assembled through a high-profile reality competition, has developed a large and highly engaged fanbase.
Tyler has previously worked with vocalists like Erykah Badu, Solange and Lola Young, making the multi-voiced KATSEYE ripe for a festival collaboration.
4. Djo

How about a Stranger Things + Odd Future cross-pollination?
Djo — the musical project of actor Joe Keery — is another artist playing the same stages Tyler headlines both nights. The collab could be peculiar enough to work.
5. School of Rock (Chile Only)
School of Rock plays the Kidzapalooza Stage at Lollapalooza Chile. Often demonstrating a childlike spirit, Tyler would be a fun fit for a sit-in with the kid-comprised band.
A guest appearance from Tyler during their set — or vice versa — would be the most unexpected collaboration on this list, and the most shareable moment of the day.
Tyler, The Creator headlines Lollapalooza Argentina on March 13 (Flow Stage) and Lollapalooza Chile on March 14 (Cenco Malls Stage). Find his full tour schedule below.
