Ty Segall Announces New Album ‘Possession’ & 2025 Fall Tour Dates

Ty Segall will release a new album, Possession, via Drag City on May 30. The prolific guitarist announced 2025 Fall Tour dates supporting the record that features the single, “Fantastic Tomb.”
Segall’s 16th album, Possession follows his 2024 full-length, Three Bells. Segall worked with longtime collaborator, filmmaker Matt Yoka, to co-write a “literary set of lyrics” that “paint an abiding view of quintessentially American stories.” Yoka previously provided visual elements for Segall’s albums Goodbye Bread, Manipulator and Emotional Mugger and Segall contributed music to Yoka’s documentary, Whirlybird.
Segall returns to the road later this month, with a full slate of tour dates running through mid-May. Additional full band shows in October were confirmed in California, Oregon, Washington and British Columbia. Tickets are on sale now.
