The 2017 Adirondack Independence Music Festival took place over this past weekend in Lake George, New York. Vermont jam act Twiddle headlined the festivities on Sunday and welcomed a number of guests including vocalist Hayley Jane. Twiddle frontman Mihali Savoulidis returned the favor as one of Hayley Jane and the Primates‘ guests.

Hayley Jane & The Primates first welcomed Mike Gordon percussionist Craig Myers on “Mama” and “Man Acryillic.” Later in the set, Mihali and moe. drummer Vinnie Amico added to “I Can Do It.” Finally, Funky Dawgz Brass Band saxophonist Tommy Weeks aided the Primates on “Make It Alright.”

Twiddle’s set started with a “Subconscious Prelude” featuring Lowell Wurster of Lucid on washboard. Later, Hayley Jane emerged for Twiddle’s first cover of “What I’ve Got” by Sublime since March 14, 2014 – a span of 363 shows. Weeks also sat-in with Twiddle as he added to “Every Soul.” Hayley Jane’s other guest appearances took place during sets from Barika and Gratefully Yours.
