Turkuaz teamed up with Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew for the new single “Ophidiophobia.” Harrison, a co-founding member of Talking Heads, and Belew, a one-time touring member of Talking Heads, are collaborating with Turkuaz on a series of forthcoming Remain In Light tributes starting with a set as part of Bonnaroo’s Virtual ROO-ALITY livestream special.

“We had always planned on doing a little bit of Turkuaz material in the upcoming Remain In Light tour with Adrian Belew and Jerry Harrison,” explained Turkuaz frontman Dave Brandwein. “Once the pandemic hit and the tour was postponed, I started to think this would be a really nice track to have those guys on,” Brandwein added of “Ophidiophobia,” a song written “some time” ago that Turkuaz had yet to perform live.

Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew contributed their parts of the song remotely. “Ophidiophobia” will be performed by the band and their guests for the first time “live” during the Remain In Light set premiering via Virtual ROO-ALITY. Stream “Ophidiophobia” below:
