Bonnaroo Details ‘Virtual ROO-ALITY’ Three-Day Livestream Special

Bonnaroo organizers will present Virtual ROO-ALITY, a three-day livestream special featuring a mix of new live performances, unique original content and archival sets from the festival’s illustrious history. Virtual ROO-ALITY will air on Bonnaroo’s YouTube channel September 24 – 26 starting at 4:30 p.m. ET/1:30 p.m. PT each day.

Archival sets featuring Dave Matthews & Friends (2004), Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit (2016), The White Stripes (2007), My Morning Jacket (2011), and Metallica (2008) are among those scheduled for broadcast. Notably, the event will include the full-length streaming premiere of The Beastie Boys’ performance at Bonnaroo 2009, which wound up being the famed trio’s historic final concert.

Dozens of new live performances will air as part of Virtual ROO-ALITY. Bruce Hornsby, Goose, Nathaniel Rateliff, Galactic, Old Crow Medicine Show’s Bonnarootenanny, Turkuaz with Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew, Tank & The Bangas and Trampled By Turtles are just some of the artists set to appear over the course of the three-day event.

Other Virtual ROO-ALITY programming includes Big Freedia sharing her recipe for Booty Poppin’ Potatoes, “Bonnaroke With Allen Stone,” “Food Conversations With Action Bronson Live From Greenpoint” and “Robe Rage” late night parties. Plus, Hayley Williams will curate “Sanctuary Of Self Love” featuring “engaging conversations about important topics including the digital space and mental health, diversity in wellness, and the origins of gender with panelists ranging from Charli XCX, Dr. Joy Harden Bradford, Laura Jane Grace, Blair Imani, Maryam Ajai, and more.”
