Tower Of Power Announces 2024 Holidays & Hits Tour

Tower of Power announced their 2024 Holidays & Hits Tour, bringing the renowned funk and soul band to cities across the United States this December. The Bay Area-based group will release a new full-length holiday album, It’s Christmas, on September 27.

“Reflecting on 56 years of Tower of Power, it’s mind-blowing to see the incredible outpouring of love for our music all around the world,” Emilio Castillo, founder and bandleader, stated. “This time, we’re bringing a little extra holiday spirit to the stage with our brand new holiday album It’s Christmas, and it’s going to be something really special. We’re excited to celebrate both the holidays and the hits that have defined us. But first, we’ll see you on this upcoming fall tour for a SOUL VACCINATION!”

The tour kicks off on December 3 in Plymouth (Massachusetts), followed by a performance in Niagara Falls (New York) on December 6. Tower of Power then heads to Atlantic City on December 7 before playing New York City on December 8.

Continuing their journey westward, the band will perform in Newark (Ohio) on December 10 and Joliet (Illinois) on December 11. The tour then moves to Davenport (Iowa) on December 13, followed by a show in La Vista (Nebraska) on December 15.

As they approach the West Coast, Tower of Power will stop in Santa Fe on December 17 and Tucson on December 18. The Holidays & Hits Tour concludes with a homecoming show in Oakland on December 21, bringing the funk legends back to the Bay Area where they formed over five decades ago.
