Tour Diary | On The Road With Moon Taxi – A Photo Journal
By Team JamBase Nov 7, 2013 • 11:30 am PST

I wanted this tour journal to start and end in Nashville. No matter how far we get out on the road, we always keep a special place in our hearts for home. Welcome inside the touring world of Moon Taxi as we celebrate Halloween weekend in a few of our favorite places.

Wes Bailey keeps it funky on stage, but clean in the bus. Here he is getting things started right and ready.

Now its time to relax as we roll down to Augusta, GA to play Halloween night at Sky City.

Wes can’t seem to get enough of that vacuum. Only Spencer really seems to be fine with what is happening here.

Great fan art! Whiskey Sunset pennants, thank you guys!

Ready to get spooky. This is sure to be a weird night.

It was actually not too difficult to sing like this.

There’s something rowdy in the air. Packed house!

After the show in Augusta, GA we rolled down to The Spirit of Suwannee park in Live Oak, FL. Look at this green room RV!

Setlist discussion can lead to friendly discourse.

Setlist discussion can also lead to heavy drinking.

Late night hang with the next generation of MT fans.

Hulaween was great. Now our sights are set on Nola.

Road hiccup. Thanks to this leathery soul for letting us use his tire iron and not murdering Matt. !

Doowop Taxi

One of the best things about playing festivals is being inspired by other artists. Nine Inch Nails absolutely blew our minds.

Voodoo set! Awesome crowd and great energy.

Late night in New Orleans: Tommy and Tyler face off in the battle of good vs. evil

There were unicorns being decapitated at this after party. There is no place on earth like New Orleans.

Back home to Tennessee. This run has been great. We met some awesome people and saw some crazy things. Now we are headed to Nashville and on the way we are talking about the next great holiday: New Years. We are thrilled to play Marathon Music Works for NYE!!
