Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan is celebrating his recent 60th birthday on the collaborative Sessanta Tour, which features his other bands Puscifer and A Perfect Circle performing along with Primus. The tour stopped at the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday and the concert saw the other three members of Tool join their bandmate onstage in L.A. to play a surprise song together.
Tool guitarist Adam Jones, drummer Danny Carey and bassist Justin Chancellor emerged for the penultimate performance of the night. The four members of Tool were joined by Primus’ Les Claypool who helped Keenen sing the Tool favorite “Ænema.”
