Tool Drummer Danny Carey To Guest On ‘Late Night With Seth Meyers’

Tool drummer Danny Carey is the latest drummer to hold a residency on ‘Late Night With Seth Meyers.’ Carey will be behind the kit sitting-in with house band the 8G Band on a number of episodes of the late night talk show.

Starting on Monday, September 26 Carey will be the drummer for a week’s worth of episodes. He joins previous fellow guest percussionist who have done stints at 30 Rock including Primus drummer Tim “Herb” Alexander, Paul McCartney drummer Abe Laboriel Jr., Galactic’s Stanton Moore, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith, Wilco’s Glenn Kotche, Sleater-Kinney’s Janet Weiss and several others.
