By Scott Bernstein Jan 23, 2015 11:10 am PST

For many years Phish drummer Jon Fishman would spend some of his time off from his main band as a member of the Jazz Mandolin Project. Just about a year ago, Fish reunited with JMP front man Jamie Masefield as part of a benefit in Vermont and will reprise the feat tonight. Jon, Jamie as well as guitarist Doug Perkins and bassist Tyler Bolles are scheduled to perform at Champlain Valley Union High School Auditorium in Hinesburg, Vermont this evening.

The quartet’s performance will be part of a night of music dubbed “Local Legends -An Evening Of Acoustic Music” that also will feature Nate Gusakov and Robinson Morse plus Fadhili with Niel Maurer. More information including ticketing details is available via Responsible Growth Hinesburg’s website. Funds raised will support Responsible Growth Hinesburg, a group of Hinesburg residents dedicated to local control of local planning and the idea that their town should grow wisely.
