Todd Snider Shares John Prine Cover For Nashville Rescue Mission

Todd Snider shared a rendition of John Prine’s “Angel From Montgomery.” The cover will benefit the Nashville Rescue Mission and its mission of helping the hungry, homeless and hurting in the Nashville area.

Prine died on Tuesday, April 7 from complications due to COVID-19. The following Sunday, which happened to be Easter, Snider conducted a livestream tribute set to the legendary singer-songwriter from his home in East Nashville where he performed “Angel From Montgomery.” Proceeds will go to Nashville Rescue Misson as per Prine family wishes in memory of John.
