Céline Dion Performs 1st Full Concert In 6 Years

Celine Dion returned to the stage Saturday night for the first time in six years, launching her Céline Dion Paris 2026-2027 residency in front of a sold-out crowd at Plenitude Arena, Nanterre. The performance near Paris marked the beloved Canadian singer’s first full concert since 2020.

Dion has largely been absent from the live stage since December 2022. The 58-year-old revealed then that she was diagnosed with the rare neurological disease known as stiff-person syndrome.

“Finally, it’s amazing we are all together,” Dion told the audience. “I made a promise to come back and to be back on stage. So here I am, singing for you, singing for me, singing life.”

Backing Dion was her longtime band, led by musical director Scott Price, who has worked with her for the past 15 years. The show unfolded across four acts, opening with the French-language classic “On ne change pas.”

Dion moved through a run of staples including “Because You Loved Me,” “Dans un autre monde” and “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now.” The setlist included, “Courage,” the title track from her most recent studio album, which was released in 2019. Dion also performed “Dansons,” her newest song that came out earlier this year.
