Celine Dion returns with “Dansons,” a new French single written by longtime collaborator Jean-Jacques Goldman. The track arrived just two weeks after the global icon announced 16 comeback concerts in Paris set for this fall.

The title “Dansons” translates in English to “Let’s Dance.” Goldman and Dion have a long history of working together that includes Jean-Jacques being the primary writer for Celine’s 1995 French-language album D’eux.

“Dansons” marks Dion’s first new music since contributing several tracks to the Love Again soundtrack in 2023. Celine’s most recent studio album, Courage, came out in 2019.

Celine Dion continues her comeback while battling stiff-person syndrome. The rare neurological disease has kept Dion sidelined since she announced her diagnosis in December 2022.

The 58-year-old singer is gearing up for her highly anticipated Celine Dion Paris 2026 residency. The run consists of 16 concerts between September 12 and October 17, 2026 at the Paris La Défense Arena. Tickets for all shows sold out within hours of going on sale.

“This year, I’m getting the best gift of my life. I’m getting the chance to see you, to perform for you, once again in Paris, beginning in September this year,” Dion said in a message to fans when the Paris residency was first announced. “I’m so happy. I’m so ready to do this. I’m feeling good, I’m strong, I’m feeling excited, obviously. Of course a little nervous, but most of all I am grateful to all of you.”
