Thundercat Shares ‘Children Of The Baked Potato’ Single Featuring Remi Wolf

Thundercat (Stephen Bruner) shared two new Greg Kurstin-produced songs including “Children of the Baked Potato” featuring Remi Wolf. The acclaimed bassist and singer-songwriter also shared the track, “I Wish I Didn’t Waste Your Time.”

“I Wish I Didn’t Waste Your Time” marks Thundercat’s first official solo release since his 2020 LP, It Is What It Is, although he’s released a string of collaborative singles over the last few years. The latest is with Remi Wolf on “Children of the Baked Potato,” a nod to Los Angeles jazz club, the Baked Potato.

Bruner said Remi Wolf “is a child of the Baked Potato, like me. She knew exactly what the song needed. And it was wild to watch her make it happen. The more I listen to the song, it’s clear there was no one better I could have picked.”
