Thievery Corporation Covers Grateful Dead At AURA Music & Arts Festival

This past Friday night, Thievery Corporation headlined the second day of this year’s AURA Music & Arts Festival at the Spirit Of The Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida. Thievery Corporation treated festivalgoers to a lengthy set that included a Grateful Dead cover.

About halfway through their set, Thievery Corporation dropped a sizzling take on the Grateful Dead classic “Fire On The Mountain” to the delight of those in attendance. Thievery first started covering the Dead at a special show in Chicago last summer ahead of Fare Thee Well – A Celebration Of 50 Years Of Grateful Dead. “Fire On The Mountain” has remained a staple of the group’s live shows ever since.
