Rock legends The Who continue to honor their 50th anniversary with the upcoming release of a new compilation. The two-disc Who Hits 50 is due on October 27 and contains “Be Lucky,” the band’s first new music in eight years.

Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey recorded “Be Lucky” over the summer with Who touring band members bassist Pino Palladino and drummer Zak Starkey. The track also features Mick Talbot of the Style Council and Dexys Midnight Runners on keys. Who Hits 50 also includes plenty of the group’s best-known songs as well as a handful of underrated gems from the past 50 years. The Who have announced all royalties from the new song will benefit Team Cancer America.
