The String Cheese Incident Performs ‘Blackberry Blossom’ At Fox Theatre In 2017: Pro-Shot Video

The String Cheese Incident released pro-shot video of “Blackberry Blossom.” The clip comes from SCI’s March 4, 2017 concert at the Fox Theatre in Boulder, Colorado.

“Blackberry Blossom” is a classic bluegrass breakdown and fiddle tune but String Cheese certainly took it out at the Fox in Boulder — where the Colorado-bred band is based — with a version that stretched to 13 minutes. The show came as part of SCI’s Winter Carnival 2017 Roots Revival Tour which saw Cheese playing in small venues with significance in the band’s history. The 2017 Fox concert was also recently broadcast for SCI’s Friday Night Cheese archival series.
