The Marcus King Band Announces New Album ‘Carolina Confessions’ & Shares Singles

The Marcus King Band will release a new studio album entitled Carolina Confessions on October 5 via Fantasy Records. Two singles are available now from the forthcoming LP, “Homesick” and “Welcome ‘Round Here.”

Guitarist/frontman Marcus King, keyboardist DeShawn Alexander, bassist Stephen Campbell, trombonist/trumpeter Justin Johnson, saxophonist Dean Mitchell and drummer Jack Ryan recorded Carolina Confessions with producer Dave Cobb at the historic RCA Studio A in Nashville. The follow-up to The Marcus King Band’s 2016 self-titled debut features nine songs written by King and one, “How Long,” was co-written by The Black Keys’ guitarist Dan Auerbach and Nashville-based singer-songwriter Pat McLaughlin.
