The Disco Biscuits ended their three-night run at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York on Saturday. The quartet delivered a cover of “Denmark Massive” for the first time since 2008 to open the show and closed the evening with a cover bust out as well.

The Disco Biscuits — guitarist Jon Gutwillig, bassist Marc Brownstein, keyboardist Aron Magner and drummer Allen Aucoin — kicked off the concert with said “Denmark Massive.” The song is from The Join catalog led by The New Deal’s Jamie Shields and Darren Shearer. Bisco last performed “Denmark Massive” on June 9, 2008, as per the Biscuits Internet Project.

The quartet then headed into their recent single, “Lake Shore Drive,” their first original music release in over a decade, before going inverted for the vintage “Morph Dusseldorf.” The band kept up the classics to close the set with “And The Ladies Were The Rest Of The Night” which encompassed “Cyclone.”

The second set began with some more old school Bisco, “Vassillios.” The Conspirator composition “Orch Theme” then segued into Bisco’s first inverted “Sweating Bullets” and “Tempest” ahead of a return to “Vassillios.” The band then delivered the ending to “I Remember When” to wrap up the second frame. The quartet returned to finish off the dyslexic rendition of “I Remember When” which flowed into the band’s first “Fifth Of Beethoven” since November 3, 2018. The Walter Murphy nod concluded tDB’s Capitol Theatre run.
