Terrapin All-Stars Cover Prince Within Grateful Dead Song At Tim Bluhm Fundraiser

On Friday night, Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, California hosted a fundraiser for musician Tim Bluhm who is recovering from a terrible speed flying accident. Proceeds from the concert will go towards his medical fund. The evening featured several sets with different musicians switching in and out all night according to Deadheadland’s report. Friday’s concert came to a close with the Terrapin All-Stars teaming for a Grateful Dead cover that included a tribute to Prince.
Many of the evening’s musicians including Tim Bluhm, Scott Guberman, Greg Loiacono, Scott Law and Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz came together to close out the evening with “Shakedown Street” > “1999” > “Shakedown Street.” Watch footage of the encore captured by Deadheadland’s MarkoVision Films:
The venue’s proprietor Phil Lesh sat-in at a number of points during the evening including on versions of “Casey Jones,” “Easy Wind” and “Hey Pocky Way” as per Deadheadland. Watch videos of each captured by Deadheadland:
