Following the recent release of “I Got You,” Tedeschi Trucks Band now states “Who Am I,” with their latest single. Both tracks appear on Future Soul, the upcoming sixth studio album from the group co-led by guitarists Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks.

Tedeschi and Trucks co-wrote “Who Am I” with TTB members, keyboardist Gabe Dixon and vocalist/guitarist Mike Mattison.

“‘Who Am I’ feels a little bit like a dream to me,” said Trucks. “The riff came naturally to me one of the mornings that we were all writing together up at our farm in Georgia. Susan immediately came up with the opening vocal melody and lyric and Gabe really took it to a beautiful place from there. It feels biographical and a bit surreal at the same time. I always love when a song can put you in between worlds.”

Co-produced by Trucks and Mike Elizondo, Future Soul follows the 12-piece band’s 2022 I Am The Moon four-part album project. The 11-track new album arrives on March 20 via Fantasy Records.

Tedeschi Trucks Band will support the release on the Future Soul Tour and 10-show Beacon Theatre residency.
