Tedeschi Trucks Band Announces Guests For Jazz Fest Set

On April 28, the Tedeschi Trucks Band will perform at this year’s New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. When the lineup for the famed fest was announced, the TTB’s set was listed as “Tedeschi Trucks Band & Friends.” Today, the band has revealed those “friends.”

The Tedeschi Trucks Band will be joined by Jimmie Vaughan of the Fabulous Thunderbirds and Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top for their set at Jazz Fest. Vaughan has sat-in with the TTB a few times in the past including a guest spot last September at NYC’s Beacon Theatre. While Gibbons hasn’t performed with the band yet, guitarist Derek Trucks has shared the stage with him a handful of times previously.
