‘Everything Has Changed’: Taylor Swift Returns To Stage With Guest Ed Sheeran After Foiled Terror Attack

Taylor Swift began her second run of Eras Tour shows at London’s Wembley Stadium on Thursday (August 15). Swift brought out “best friend” Ed Sheeran for a three-song mashup during the “Surprise Songs” section of the sold-out concert.

Last night was Swift’s first concert since her shows in Vienna were canceled last week due to a terror threat. Additionally, Taylor was back in the UK less than a month after three children attending a Swift-themed dance class in Southport, England were murdered. The pop star did not discuss either incident last night at her first of five August performances at the massive venue.

Taylor Swift started “Everything Has Changed” from her 2013 album Red and halfway through told the 92,000 fans “I’m not really doing [the song] justice,” “something’s definitely missing” and that she was feeling “lonely” on the stage. Out came Sheeran to join Swift as he did on the studio version.

Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift then swerved into their 2017 collaboration “End Game.” The special guest appearance and mashup concluded with a duet on Sheeran’s hit “Thinking Out Loud.” Swift called Sheeran her “second brother” and thanked him immensely for his appearance before the English singer left the stage.

While Sheeran and Swift hadn’t shared the stage together in a long time, their last release came when Taylor was featured on a 2022 remix of Ed’s “The Joker And The Queen.” Sheeran is also expected to appear on the new version of “End Game” to be included on Swift’s forthcoming reputation (Taylor’s Version).
