Tame Impala Sinks Teeth Into New ‘Dracula’ Single
Kevin Parker posted the latest preview of his fifth studio album, Deadbeat.

Tame Impala (Kevin Parker) continues to tease out their upcoming album, Deadbeat, with the release of the new single, “Dracula.” The fifth Tame Impala album, and first for Columbia Records, is set for release on October 17.
“Dracula” joins the prior shared Deadbeat singles, “Loser” and “End Of Summer”. Parker mainly recorded the follow-up to 2020’s well-received The Slow Rush, during sessions held in the first half of 2025 in his hometown of Fremantle, Australia and at his Wave House studio in Injidup, Western Australia.
The approach to Deadbeat was “deeply inspired by bush doof culture and the Western Australia rave scene, recasting Tame Impala as a kind of future primitive rave act in the process.”

Tame Impala will embark on a U.S. Fall Tour supporting Deadbeat beginning with two newly announced shows at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on October 27 and 28. The tour will end with newly added dates in Oakland and Los Angeles.
