Suwannee Hulaween Announces Halloween Theme & Additions Including Russo, Benevento & Burbridge

As if there wasn’t enough reason to get excited over next month’s Suwannee Hulaween festival at the Spirit Of The Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida on October 28 – 30, the theme for The String Cheese Incident‘s Halloween performance and a batch of additions have been revealed. Of particular note is the second-ever performance of Russo, Benevento & Burbridge, a band featuring Joe Russo, Oteil Burbridge and Marco Benevento.

The theme for SCI’s Halloween set this year is “Stringer Things” celebrating the 1980’s with music, costumes and homage to the Netflix series Stranger Things. Stringer Things follows past themes Voodoo in 2013, The Afterlife in 2014 and Ghoul Train in 2015. Stranger Things premiered in July on Netflix.

Russo, Benevento & Burbridge, aka RB&B, made their debut last month at the Peach Music Festival in Scranton. The band played an all-improv set that turned heads. Other Hulaween lineup additions are Oh Wonder and Antibalas. The bands revealed today join three nights of headliners SCI, My Morning Jacket straight off their mind-blowing Lockn’ performance, Umphrey’s McGee, STS9, Big Gigantic with The Motet, The Claypool Lennon Delirium, Lettuce, Greensky Bluegrass, Snarky Puppy and dozens morr October 28 – 30 in Live Oak.
