UPDATE: Summer Camp festival organizers officially announced the cancellation of the 2026 event. Read their statement below:
The 2026 Summer Camp Music Festival has been canceled less than two weeks before the Memorial Day Weekend event was scheduled to begin. The first full scale Summer Camp since 2023 was set for May 21 – 24, 2026 at its forever home of Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois.
Organizers claimed “unforeseen financial circumstances involving a third-party service provider, resulting contract complications, and other factors,” had placed them “in a position where it is not possible to safely and responsibly produce the festival.”
Summer Camp organizers transitioned to the scaled-back Solshine Reverie at Three Sisters Park in 2024. Plans to revive Summer Camp in 2025 were called off that March. When the 2025 cancelation was announced, organizers aimed to host a series of shows over Memorial Day Weekend 2025 along the Peoria, Illinois Riverfront. Those plans were eventually called off.
Organizers rolled out the initial 2026 Summer Camp lineup in February. The bill was topped by EOTO, STS9, Two Friends, Manic Focus, Maddy O’Neal and Big Gigantic. Summer Camp mainstays Umphrey’s McGee and moe. were not part of the 25th annual lineup.
