The String Cheese Incident & Guests Perform ‘Hey Pocky A-Way’ At Hulaween: Pro-Shot Video

The String Cheese Incident recently brought out a bevy of guests including members of The Motet and more to close out their Friday, October 25th performance this year’s Suwannee Hulaween festival. SCI shared pro-shot video of their colossal collaboration on The Meters’ “Hey Pocky A-way” at the Spirit Of The Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida this past weekend.

For the sit-in, Motet guitarist Ryan Jalbert and Cheese mandolinist Michael Kang traded riffs, while Motet keyboard wiz Joey Porter teamed up with SCI keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth and Motet drummer Dave Watts joined Michael Travis and Jason Hahn to form a three-headed monster of a percussion attack. The Motet lead vocalist Lyle Divinsky, along with frequent SCI collaborators Rhonda Thomas and Tony White, led the vocal charge on The Meters funk classic. Check it out below:
