Stream This | Eric Clapton & Friends – The Breeze

Next Tuesday a new tribute album from Eric Clapton & Friends dedicated to the late J.J. Cale entitled The Breeze will be released. Tom Petty, Derek Trucks, Willie Nelson and John Mayer are among the music superstars who appear on the album, which features 16 beloved J.J. Cale songs.

A stream of The Breeze is available via iTunes Radio a week before it hits stores. If you like what you hear, you can pre-order the album at iTunes or in a variety of formats through the Surfdog Records Store.

“I would like people to tap into what JJ Cale did – that’s the point. I’m just the messenger; I’ve always felt that that’s my job. I try to interpret things so that the public at large, or at least the people who listen to what I do, will become intrigued about where I got it from,” said Clapton in a statement about The Breeze.
