Stream Posthumous Leon Russell Single ‘Easy To Love’

A posthumous new album recorded by late great musician Leon Russell, On A Distant Shore, comes out this Friday. NPR Music has shared the single “Easy To Love” from the forthcoming LP.

Set for release a mere 10 months after his death at the age of 74, On A Distant Shore features nine newly written Russell originals inspired by the Great American Songbook, as well as a trio of standout compositions, including “A Song For You,” from earlier in his career. According to NPR, the lyrics to “Easy To Love” were “hours old when Russell recorded it just last year.”
