Joe Satriani & Steve Vai Announce Surfing With The Hydra 2026 Tour
The guitar virtuosos will launch the spring tour April 1 in Seattle with dates running through May.

Steve Vai and Joe Satriani will assemble their SATCHVAI band for the 2026 Surfing With The Hydra Tour, bringing their acclaimed guitar work to venues throughout North America from April through May. Animals as Leaders will provide support.
The SATCHVAI band includes Kenny Aronoff, Marco Mendoza and Pete Thorn. Satriani and Vai will also release a new studio collaboration “Dancing” on March 2 ahead of the tour, which kicks off on April 1 at Seattle’s Paramount Theatre
Notable stops on the Surfing With The Hydra Tour include the Fox Theater in Oakland, ACL Live at The Moody Theater in Austin, Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Chicago Theatre in Chicago, Beacon Theatre in New York City and Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston. The trek wraps May 30 at the Filene Center at Wolf Trap in Vienna, Virginia.
Tickets and exclusive VIP package pre-sale begins Wednesday, December 10 with general on-sale starting Friday, December 12 at 10:00 a.m. local.
