Steve Kimock Announces August East Coast Run

Guitarist Steve Kimock will be joined by bassist Bobby Vega, drummer Jay Lane, keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and guitarist Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz for a series of five shows in August.

Kimock and his band will play songs from Steve’s repertoire as well as Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia classics at the late summer performances. The five-piece begins the run at The Hamilton in Washington, D.C. on August 4 and then heads to the Highline Ballroom in NYC on August 5. Kimock’s ensemble performs at The Wilbur in Boston on August 6 and Bearsville Theater in Woodstock on August 7 before ending the run with an appearance at Bear’s Picnic in Roaring Branch, Pennsylvania on August 8.

Steve Kimock is currently in the middle of a five-show residency at Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, California. The residency continues tonight (tickets) with the guitarist scheduled to be joined by Dave Schools of Widespread Panic and Wally Ingram and concludes on Wednesday night (tickets) with both Schools and Ingram aboard. Bob Weir was among Kimock’s guests on Sunday at Sweetwater.
