Stephen Stills, Ani DiFranco, Joan Baez & Others Donate Guitars To NITO Instrument Auction

Stephen Stills, Ani DiFranco and Joan Baez are among the new artists who have donated to the National Independent Talent Organization’s (NITO) “Guitar And Stringed Instrument Auction.” The expanded online event is live via CharityBuzz and will now run until Monday, December 14.

NITO is a nonprofit comprised of “over 1,000 independent talent agencies, management firms, associate artists and live touring entities fighting for crucial pandemic relief in Congress.” Additional artists contributing to the expanded auction include Blue Öyster Cult, Conor Oberst and Zakk Wylde.

Musicians who donated instruments in the first round include Bonnie Raitt, Graham Nash, Leon Bridges, Kurt Vile, The War On Drugs and more. The latter’s Adam Granduciel spoke about the auction in a statement. Read his words below:

“We’re honored to contribute a signed Fender guitar to the NITO live auction. Our industry relies on so many small businesses to make even one show possible.”
