Steep Canyon Rangers To Perform On ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’

While Steep Canyon Rangers have appeared on late night television a handful of times in the past, each visit has been backing Steve Martin. Early next month, the band will make their debut solo late night television performance.

The North Carolina-based sextet will be the musical guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon next Thursday, May 3. “It’s always a special occasion playing The Tonight Show, and this will be no exception. We’re gonna cut loose a little bit this time around,” said banjoist Graham Sharp in a press release announcing the appearance. Steep Canyon Rangers recently issued the critically-acclaimed Out In The Open via Ramseur Records.
