Southern Strings Festival Postponed Following Damage From Hurricane Helene

The Southern Strings Festival has been postponed to 2025 due to the impact of Hurricane Helene. The event was originally scheduled to begin tomorrow in Aiken, South Carolina and will now take place October 3 and 4, 2025 with the same lineup.

The lineup for Southern Strings includes Futurebirds, Leftover Salmon, Keller Williams’ Grateful Grass, The HillBenders, SUSTO, , Widespread Panic’s JoJo Hermann, Sam Holt and more.

WSP keyboardist JoJo Hermann and former crew member Sam Holt along with The Mason Jars and The Magnificent Jam Revival will perform a hurricane relief benefit at Electric Eats in Aiken on Saturday (October 5). Organizers of the festival shared a note on the cancellation as well as the benefit show.

“With a heavy heart, we have decided to postpone Southern Strings Festival. We have tried everything possible to put on a safe and fun event for all of our patrons, and we do not think that we can do that successfully at this time. We will be postponing the festival to October 3 & 4 of 2025 with the same lineup as this year. All tickets can be refunded or used at the new festival date. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”

FREE HURRICANE RELIEF EVENT SATURDAY
Friends With Benefits Fund, The Kisner Foundation & Aiken Horse Park Foundation are going to put together a FREE concert at Electric Eats this Saturday starting at 6PM with JoJo Hermann / Sam Holt, The Mason Jars, and The Magnificent Jam Revival. We ask that everyone bring non-perishable items or donate to The Kisner Foundation Hurricane Relief Fund for the CSRA.
