Soulive Details Full Slate Of Bowlive VII Guests

Over the past few weeks Soulive has been rolling out special guest announcements for the trio’s upcoming Bowlive VII residency at Brooklyn Bowl in New York City. At this point, at least one guest has been revealed for each of the run’s eight shows, which spans June 7 – 10 and 14 – 17.

Soulive will be joined by guitarist Steve Kimock and multi-instrumentalist Karl Denson on opening night, June 7. Doyle Bramhall II will make his Bowlive debut the next night, while frequent Vulfpeck collaborator Antwaun Stanley and The Snarky Horns are aboard on June 9. The first set of Bowlive VII shows will conclude with Soulive joined by old friend Sam Kininger on June 10.

The trio resumes the residency on June 14 with guests The Shady Horns, Grant Kwiecinski (GRiZ) and Son Little. Soulive will welcome guitarist John Scofield and The Shady Horns on the 15th followed by George Porter Jr., Marcus King and the horns on the 16th. Earlier today, the band revealed keyboardist Nigel Hall and The Shady Horns will help them close out Bowlive VII on June 17.
