Watch The Red Clay Strays Preview Sold-Out Madison Square Garden Debut On ‘Fallon’

The Red Clay Strays returned to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday ahead of their Madison Square Garden debut on Sunday. The Mobile, Alabama-based band performed “Don’t Wanna Know” for the NBC late-night television program.

The rollicking “Don’t Wana Know” is featured on the group’s recently released third album, Grateful. Nine-time Grammy-winner Dave Cobb produced the 11-track LP, as he did for their 2024 breakout album Made By These Moments. The Red Clay Strays chose the title as a reflection on their career.

“[2022’s] Moment of Truth was a big album about having faith in dark times, looking to a higher power,” frontman Brandon Coleman stated, “and Made By These Moments focused on realizing those dark times that you were having to have faith through, which made you who you are. You made it through when you didn’t think you would. And now we’re at a point where we’re grateful. Looking to God in whatever situation you’re in is a denominator in all of the albums.”

“The title of the album’s a literal meaning to us at this moment in our careers,” bassist Andrew Bishop added. “We’re grateful for how we came out of Made By These Moments and what we have now.”

The Red Clay Strays recently kicked off the Grateful Tour. On Sunday, the sextet will play one of their most prestigious gigs yet with a sold-out concert at MSG. The Revivalists and Brent Cobb open at The Garden as they will on Friday at The Mann in Philadelphia.
