The Shins Share New Single ‘Painting A Hole’

Next Friday Columbia Records will issue the long awaited new The Shins album Heartworms. Another single from the record, “Painting A Hole,” has been shared in advance of the LP’s March 10 release.

James Mercer has not released a new The Shins album since Port Of Morrow came out in 2012. The band, currently featuring Mercer, bassist Yuuki Matthews, drummer Jon Sortland, guitarist/keyboardist Mark Watrous, guitarist Casey Foubert and keyboardist Patti King, has a number of show planned in support of the fifth The Shins LP.
