Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival Announces Full Fall 2018 Lineup

The Fall 2018 installment of the Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival Of Music & Dance will be held at Shakori Hills in Pittsboro, North Carolina October 4 – 7. Organizers of the event recently unveiled the full lineup featuring over 50 musical acts.

Lettuce, Donna The Buffalo, Locos Por Juana and Ryan Montbleau have been tapped to headline the event. Tony Perez, Consider The Source, Hayley Jane & The Primates, Yes Darling, Yarn and Dr. Bacon are among the other acts aboard for the Fall ’18 Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival. “Our intention is to bring a wide mix of musical styles to each festival and help develop quality local, regional, and national musicians,” said Jeb Puryear, festival co-founder and guitarist for Donna the Buffalo. The event takes place on a 72-acre site that offers tent, RV and vehicle camping. Kids of all ages are invited to dance in a parade led by Paperhand Puppet Intervention on the Saturday of the event. In addition to the music, the festival will also feature teen programs, music and dance workshops, local arts and craftpersons, healing arts and more.
