Guitarist John Scofield gathered a few days ago with keyboardist John Medeski, drummer Billy Martin and bassist Jesse Murphy to record a Woodstock Sessions set in Saugerties, New York. The quartet’s “Bandemic” performance will be streamed via Facebook tonight, Friday, March 20 starting at 6 p.m. ET.

Scofield’s relationship with Medeski and Martin dates back to 1998, when the guitarist used Medeski Martin & Wood as his backing band for the A Go Go studio album. Medeski Scofield Martin & Wood have since put out additional releases and perform together from time to time. Bassist Jesse Murphy is a member of Brazilian Girls and is a longtime Scofield collaborator.
