Santana postponed the upcoming residency shows at the House of Blues Las Vegas. Guitarist Carlos Santana broke a finger during a fall while at his vacation home in Hawaii, his management confirmed.
The postponed House of Blues Las Vegas dates span from January 22 to February 2. Universal Tone Management President Michael Vrionis shared a note on Carlos’ health, noting that the right-handed guitarist broke his left (fretting) pinky finger and will need six weeks of recovery.

“I am sorry to say that Carlos was out taking a walk at his vacation home in Kauai. He took a hard fall, and he broke his little finger on his left hand. He had to have pins inserted in the finger. Unfortunately, he won’t be able to play guitar for approximately six weeks. Doctors do say that he will recuperate fully.
“Carlos is doing well and is anxious to be back on stage soon. He just needs to heal,” Mr. Vrionis added. “Santana profoundly regrets these postponements of his upcoming performances, but accidents happen, and his health is our number one concern. He is looking forward to seeing all of his fans very soon.”
Given the six-week prognosis, Carlos Santana should be healed by the time Santana is set to kick off their 2025 Spring Tour in April. While no rescheduled dates were given for the winter Vegas postponement, Santana will return to the House of Blues Las Vegas for a previously scheduled run in May ahead of a European Tour.
