Following a recent performance at the Grammy Awards, global pop star Sabrina Carpenter is less than a month out from getting back on tour. When Carpenter returns to the live stage at several upcoming festival appearances, she may add more celebrities to the all-star list that have been “arrested” while she performs “Juno.”

A standout song on Carpenter’s 2024 album, Short n’ Sweet, “Juno” was a staple of setlists on the tour supporting the record. Carpenter introduced a recurring bit while performing “Juno,” singling out an audience member, charging them with being “too hot” and pulling out pink fuzzy handcuffs referenced in the song’s lyrics.

Over the course of the tour, the gag evolved into a celebrity tradition. As Sabrina Carpenter prepares to perform live over the coming months, here are five standout “arrests” from memorable runs through “Juno.”

Millie Bobby Brown — October 22, 2024 | Atlanta

The bit’s celebrity era began when Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown attended Carpenter’s Atlanta show in October 2024. Brown later revealed that she had DM’d Carpenter directly to request the arrest. Another Stranger Things star, actor/musician Joe Keery (Djo), was also arrested during one of Carpenter’s ACL Festival 2025 sets.

Olivia Dean — October 2025 | Austin City Limits | Austin

The second ACL Festival weekend in October 2025, saw Carpenter call out recent Best New Artist Grammy Award winner Olivia Dean, who was also on the festival’s lineup. Carpenter nodded to Dean’s song, “Man I Need,” telling the ACL Fest crowd, “I don’t have a lot of good pickup lines, but could I be the man you need, maybe?”

TWICE — August 2025 | Lollapalooza Chicago

Another festival guest arrest happened when Carpenter brought TWICE into the bit during the final night of Lollapalooza 2025 in Chicago. Carpenter asked the K-pop group if they wanted to get married, the members told her to pick just one.

SZA — November 20, 2025 | Los Angeles

On the fourth night of her five-show Los Angeles run, Carpenter arrested SZA. Referencing SZA’s song “Big Boy” in the process, Carpenter said, “You know what they say, it’s cuffing season.”

Miss Piggy — November 23, 2025 | Los Angeles

For the final show of the 2025 Short n’ Sweet Tour, Carpenter incorporated Miss Piggy on night five of five in L.A. The appearance tied to Carpenter’s guest spot on a new The Muppets special.
